Do you have trouble waking up in the morning? Do you feel sleepy, or wake with a headache or tension and fatigue that lasts all day? Wen Shu’s simple 5 exercise stretch routine will help you wake up feeling great. These exercises are gentle, and ideal for people with lower back or hip pain as the entire routine is done while lying down in the comfort of your bed.
The routine includes:
50 alternating side stretches: Helps to open the spine, adjust hips and relax your neck. Helps alleviate sinus headaches and poor concentration.
50 hip rotations (legs together): Opens the ribs and hips, and adjusts hip joints.
50 hip rotations (legs wide): Opens stomach meridian helps with bowel movements, weight loss
100 Butterfly stretches: Beneficial for pelvis and kidneys, and can help with inner thigh weight loss
Hanging neck stretch: Releases tension in neck and shoulders. Hold for a maximum of 3 minutes. Make sure to take your time getting up afterwards. Turn to your side, make sure you aren’t feeling dizzy or lightheaded, and then proceed to get out of bed.
