Exercises for Upper Body Pain & Tension

The Y/W and L exercises demonstrated below help to strengthen and relieve upper body pain & issues in the neck, shoulders, head, sinuses, arm, and fingers. These exercises can also help you breathe more easily.

The following stretch helps to loosen tense muscles that are knotted up due to stress. It is a great preventative stretch. It will also help to correct the effects of unnoticeable imbalances in using our muscles (like favouring one side) which can injure our joints and cause our spine to become crooked.

We are usually unaware of these issues until the damage is done. Over time a crooked spine can lead to pain in your sciatic nerve and/or shoulder, or create internal issues. By releasing the tension in the fascia, we encourage the proper alignment of our spinal cord and joints which can help relieve pain and prevent future suffering.
